Weather: High of 72 degrees. Mostly clear skies and sunny.

Breakfast = fresh fruit + yogurt + 1 slice peanut butter toast + milk
Lunch = salad + banana + orange + nut energy bar
Supper = salad + beef + steamed veggies + falafel ball + spinach triangle + water + mint chocolate chip ice cream

8:35 - Roll Call/ Silent Reading
8:45 - Topic (started writing their papers on if a natural disaster hit their island how would either 1 plant or 1 animal adapt to its new environment?)
9:25 - Topic carry over
10:00 - Langauge
10:40 - Recess
11:00 - Language
11:40 - Math (Mr. Engelbert taught about line graphs and data)
12:20 - Went over the homework for the week and started their spelling unit
1:00 - Lunch (Mr. Engelbert and I went to 'game club' which is with a smaller group of 'bad kids' who can't handle eating lunch with the rest of the kids)
1:55 - Helped Kindergarten take a 'quiz' on their feelings like we did last week with the 2 other kindy classes

3:15- Music/ Home Time

    Today I got up, got ready, ate breakfast, and walked to the bus stop. The bus was a couple minutes late but I still managed to get to school on time so that was good.
    Once I got to school, I got the board ready with the date, schedule, and quote for the day. I then went over my lesson briefly with Mr. Engelbert because we had already covered it last week, so I was going to recap the expectations and then hopefully get right in to writing.
    The lesson went well for the most part and most of the class got a good start on their papers, but looking back, I should've gone into more detail with the directions and rubric they would be following. I had it in my head that we went over this on Friday, but it was actually Wednesday so that's awhile ago. I therefore plan to go more in dept tomorrow and hopefully clear up any questions they might still have.
    After this lesson, the day went on as normal. I helped out where I could, but as for my lessons, I was done for the day.
    Once the kids went off to music I got the board ready for tomorrow, figured out my capstone assignment, and talked to Mr. Engelbert about my upcoming lessons for tomorrow. I am teaching a math lesson about prisms and pyramids and we both agree it should be a really great lesson. Yay! Slowly but surely I'm getting the hang on lesson planning.
    After school then, I got a bus and went to the gym. At the gym, I ran 3 miles straight,  Yay :), did a 45 minute workout off my app, plus a 15 minute ab workout off my app as well! I then showered because our shower at home is getting fixed this week so we are without one until Friday I believe.
    After the gym, I caught a bus and it just so happened that Jeanette got on a few stops afterwards. This was nice because then we could talk about our day and also walk with someone home.
    Once we got home, I caught up on social media and cleaned out my gym bag so my towel and thins would dry before tomorrow.
    Then it was time for supper. Takuya, Lewis, Jeanette, and I all ate together. It started off the 3 of use without Lewis because we all thought he was at work so Jeanette didn't call him to supper, whoops!
    After supper then, I finished up some homework and lesson planning, caught up on my blog, got ready for bed, and went to bed around 10:30. Goodnight everyone!
